Shipping Overview
At Dear Pet Co., many of our products are handcrafted to order with care and attention to detail. Because of this, delivery timeframes consist of both a production period and a courier delivery period.
We currently ship throughout South Africa and offer local collection from our Krugersdorp location.
South African Delivery Rates
Standard Shipping
Within Gauteng
- Orders below R2,000: R120
- Orders above R2,000: Free Delivery
Outside Gauteng
- Orders below R2,000: R150
- Orders above R2,000: Free Delivery
Pet Beds
Due to the size and weight of pet beds, additional shipping charges may apply.
Within Gauteng
- Pet Bed Shipping: R175
Outside Gauteng
- Pet Bed Shipping: R225
Where an order contains both standard products and pet beds, the pet bed shipping rate may apply.
Production Times
Most Dear Pet Co. products are handcrafted specifically for your order.
Our current production time is approximately:
5-7 business days
Production times may vary during:
- Peak seasons
- Promotional periods
- Public holidays
- Unexpected supply chain disruptions
Production begins once payment has been successfully received and the order has been confirmed.
Delivery Timeframes
Handmade Dear Pet Co. Products
Estimated delivery timeframe:
- Production: 5-7 business days
- Courier delivery: 2-4 business days
Total estimated turnaround:
7-11 business days from order confirmation
Non-Dear Pet Co. Products
Where your order includes products from other brands:
Estimated delivery: 3-5 business days
Some supplier-shipped products may have different delivery schedules which will be communicated where applicable.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking information.
You can use this tracking number to follow your parcel's progress with the courier.
Please note that courier delivery times are estimates and may be affected by weather, public holidays, remote delivery locations, or circumstances beyond our control.
Local Collection
Customers may choose to collect their orders from:

You will receive a collection notification once your order is ready.
Please do not arrive for collection until you have received confirmation that your order is ready.
We recommend contacting us before collection to ensure someone is available to assist you.
Split Shipments
Where an order contains products with different fulfilment timelines, we may split the order into multiple shipments.
For example:
- Handmade Dear Pet Co. products may ship separately from other branded products.
- Certain bulky products may ship independently from smaller items.
Where applicable, tracking information will be provided for each shipment.
International Shipping
We currently offer limited international shipping.
International Rates
Orders below R5,000:
- Shipping: R700
Orders above R5,000:
- Shipping: R350
Free shipping promotions do not apply to international orders.
Additional charges may apply for remote destinations, customs clearance, duties, taxes, or import fees imposed by the destination country.
All customs duties, taxes, and import charges are the responsibility of the recipient unless otherwise stated.
